There are different options to add members to your community.
1) E-mail Invites
2) Manually create accounts
3) Email white-listing
4) Single Sign On
The following is an overview on how to invite users with each of these options.
1. E-mail Invites
With this method, you will be able to to trigger email invites to join you community.
In order to send the invites, open the Admin control panel and click on the Add member Option (as shown below)
Once you open the page, you will be presented with a white space where you can digit the email addresses of the users you would like to invited, separated by a space.
Once the emails have been sent, each user will receive an email to join the community. You may review all the outstanding invited, by accessing the Pending Invites section from the Admin control panel. From here you will be able to see all the outstanding invitations and to trigger further actions, such as resending a new invite or revoking the existing one.
2. Manually create accounts
In order to manually create accounts, open the admin control panel and click on the Add members option (as shown below)
From here click on the "Alternatively you can create accounts directly"
At this point you will have two option to create the accounts, either to upload a CSV file, or to manually enter the details of each Account.
If you decide to upload a .csv file, please bear in mind that the uploaded file shall contain the following information: Email (Optional), Username, First name, Last name and Password (Optional - if left empty, the user will be assigned a randomly generated one)
After uploading the .csv file, the following tab should appear, from which you will be able to verify and edit the users you intend to upload
from here you will be able to verify and edit the information.
Please notice that you must enter a valid email address in the "Email to receive passwords". All the credentials created will be sent to the specified email address.
Click on Create and you will receive an email with the generated credentials.
Enter the user information directly
Users can also be added directly by entering their information as below:
For each new user added, click on Add another member.
Once you are done filling in the information, press on Create.
3 & 4. Email white-listing and Single Sign On
