To begin creating content, you can click on the Create Content button in the upper right corner.
The first thing you should do when creating content, is adding a cover photo. You can upload any picture you wish, but the recommended size is 1920 x 300.
Once you upload a picture, you will be able to reposition or change the cover photo using the two buttons.
Then, you will have to add a Title for your content piece. The character limit is of 60 characters. You can also add an author name in the On behalf of… field and start writing the introduction to your content piece.
For the rest of your content piece, you can choose what kind of cards to use, depending on what you are writing. You can add text cards, image cards, upload videos, share links, create poll questions or quiz questions. Choose whatever suits you! Feel free to combine all of them for a more interactive piece.
Text Cards only support text. The number of characters it supports is 1200. If the limit is reached, you can add another text card to continue writing.
The content of the text cards can be edited by clicking on card itself.
Image Cards can be added by simply clicking on the image card button.
The Video Card allows you to upload video from your personal computer.
Link cards are used to insert relevant external information to your content piece.
Poll cards can also be added to your content. A poll question resembles a survey, as it allows users to select between multiple choices, with no right or wrong answer. They can be used to create engagement and generate conversations, or just to gather insight into how a user feels about a topic. The user can select only one answer to a poll question. After answering the poll, you'll notice statistics on the responses and also what percentage of other users gave the same answer as you.
Questions allow you to test the users on the piece of content created. Answering a question correctly will reward the user with 50 points. The question card can only have one correct answer. In order to choose which of the answers is the correct one when setting up the card simply click on the Correct/Incorrect button next to it.
You can also choose to add an explanation to why the selected answer is correct/incorrect.
Once you are done with the piece of content you can submit it for publication. Simply click on the Publish button in the top right corner of the screen. You will also need to choose in which channel you would like to have it published.
When you are done choosing the desired channel click on Submit.
Please note that at this point your content will not appear right away in the channel, as it first needs to be reviewed and approved by a channel manager.
At any time, you can check the status of your submitted content in the My Content tab.
If, after submitting the content, you decide to make any changes, these will have to be approved by the channel manager and they will not automatically apply to the live content.
