To create content, click on the ‘Create Content’ button in the top right-hand side corner of the screen.
The first thing you should do when creating content, is adding a cover photo. You can upload any picture you wish, but the recommended size is 1920 x 300.
Once uploaded, the cover photo may be repositioned or changed using the ‘Reposition cover’ button or the ‘Change cover’ button respectively.
A title must then be chosen for the content. The title character limit is 60 characters. An author name can also be added in the ‘On behalf of…’ field.
Different kinds of cards can be used for the rest of the content, depending on what is required. Text, image, videos, links, poll questions or quiz questions can be added and/or combined for a more interactive experience.
Text cards only support text up to a character limit of 1200. If the limit is reached, another text card can be added to continue writing.
The content of the text cards can be edited by clicking on card itself.
Clicking on the ‘Image card’ button allows an image card to be added.
Clicking on the ‘Video card’ button allows a video card to be added. Videos are uploaded from your device.
Clicking on the ‘Link card’ button allows a link card to be added. Link cards can be used to insert relevant external information to content.
Clicking on the ‘Poll card’ button allows a poll card to be added. A poll question allows users to select between multiple choices, with no right or wrong answer. Poll questions can be used to stimulate engagement and generate conversations or to gain insight into how users feels about topics. It is also possible to allow users to enter their own custom answers. To do so, click the ‘Allow Custom Answers’ button, below the poll option fields. To indicate that this option has been selected, the button will turn grey and the text within will change to ‘Custom Answers Allowed’. After answering the poll, statistics about the proportion of users who selected each answer are displayed.
Clicking on the ‘Quiz question’ button allows a quiz card to be added. Questions test users on their understanding of content. Answering a question correctly rewards the user with 50 points. The question card can only have one correct answer. In order to designate an option as correct or incorrect when preparing the card, the ‘Correct/Incorrect’ button next to each option can be used.
An explanation can also be added to describe why the selected answer is correct or incorrect.
Once content has finished being prepared, it can be submitted for publication by clicking the ‘Publish’ button in the top right-hand corner of the screen. A channel into which the content will be published needs also to be selected
When you are done choosing the desired channel click on Submit.
Please note that at this point your content will not appear right away in the channel, as it first needs to be reviewed and approved by a channel manager.
At any time, you can check the status of your submitted content in the My Content tab.
If changes are required after submission, these must be approved by the channel manager and will not automatically apply to the live content.
