What's a Course?
A course is a collection of two or more contents. The contents that compose the course should cover the same topic and there should be a logical order among the contents. The following is an example of how a course looks like.
A few key elements to remember:
- Content that are part of a course are clearly marked with a grey band (see above)
- On the Discover feed courses will appear as a single content, not as separate modules
- At channel level instead, courses will appear at the same level of streams
How to create a Course
To create a course, just go into "My content" and click on the "Create Course" Button. This will open the course creation tool.
The first thing will be choosing a title for the course.
Then, you will be able to start adding content to the course, by looking up through the search bar the contents you want and selecting them. At any time, you may change the order of the contents, by dragging and dropping a content to its intended position, or remove a content from the course.
Please notice that, to add a content to a course, you must be the owner of that content. Also, if you want to write a brand new content for this course, you will need to first create the content through the content creation tool.
Once happy with the course you have created you can submit the course by clicking the blue "Submit" button on the top right of the screen and by selecting the channel where you would like that course to be published in.
