Although there are many ways to analyse content, in this FAQ page, pivot tables will be used to determine patterns and information within a report's data.
- Highlight the entirety of the data, then click the ‘data’ tab followed by the ‘pivot table’ button
- This should create a new spreadsheet with a customizable pivot table, however if it is required that the pivot table should be in the same spreadsheet then clicking the downwards arrow will allow for a manual pivot table to be created, thus giving more customizability to the user.
- The ‘PivotTable builder’ allows for an easy comparison between data columns, simply tick the data column titles you wish to compare and drag them into rows, columns or values depending on how you want to compare the data.
The example below shows a channel activity summary using the data from the channel and status column (where channel is the row of the table and status is the column).
